Hyundai Certified Used Vehicles
This was the assignment no one wanted to work on. We were tasked with rebranding the program previously known as Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned with a new name, Hyundai Certified Used Vehicles, new positioning line, “The best of what’s next” and introducing new compelling program enhancements in a 360º campaign. Yet we were given a tiny budget compared to our competition which, on average, out spent us 6 to 1. Plus, we were asked to create the campaign with existing photography and running footage that was 3-4 year old because, after all, we were advertising old Hyundais. In an effort to stand out, the team said “Goodbye” to the old tired approach of using existing assets, and with a bit of art direction magic, came up with a fresh new look and feel, dropping CG cars into a friendly, eye-catching illustrated world, making Hyundai impossible to ignore in a crowded competitive segment.
